It was a terrific week in Orlando at the NADITA conference (North American Dealer Information Technology Association) for Caterpillar Dealers around North and Central America. We were honored to be invited as a Business Partner participant by our client, Milton Caterpillar, based in Milford, MA to the invitation-only event.
The conference was packed with sessions of hot IT topics. Topics included “Document Retention, Imaging & Signature Capture” and “3rd Party Plug-in’s to Core ERP Systems, VARs and Ecosystems” and “Infrastructure – On-premise, Hybrid or Cloud”; to name a few. Each session centered around relevant issues that a dealer either has successfully solved, is working on solving, or is challenged without a solution. Needless to say, a lot of brainstorming and story telling took place with the attending IT leaders.
The conference was a free flow of information that benefited everyone. We had the opportunity to listen to each of the dealers share their real work-life situations. It was invaluable to hear firsthand how we can provide solutions that address the heart of the problem. We came away better equipped to serve the Caterpillar network of dealers.
At the focused Business Partner Expo held Wednesday afternoon, we were able to have one-on-one business discussions with IT professionals about their specific needs and challenges with document management and capture. These conversations are leading to real opportunities - helping each Caterpillar dealer with their unique needs. We will truly be able to provide Freedom at Work for these new clients!
